  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name he uses is a tribute to the name of a favorite uncle combined with the name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint-recording agreements with Epic and T.I. He signed a joint-recording contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the debut album of his studio. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including the release of a joint album, Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the name Huncho Jack. His third studio album Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the top spot within a mere decade in 2020.
